My Lord and God, Sovereign One who is my strength and power;
Thank You for Your word of promise to me.
I bless Your Name, Adonai, whose glorious promises to Abraham and David reverberate
afresh in my heart.
Thank You for the gift of sure-footedness in tough terrain,
As my feet of faith walk this journey in the rockiness and ruins of a fallen world;
For I have put my trust in You, O Lord.
Thank You for the ascending climb to soaring heights;
Where I live in Your presence.
It is the place of conversation, the place of intimacy, the place of power.
My heart pours out thanks, for in the crevices and ravines my faith has been tested,
refined, and established.
You have taught me to be sure-footed in times of tragedy,
So that I may stake my claim to Your victory, upon the heights.
You, O God, are good and You are faithful.
